Home Assessments.

For doing aging in place home assessments, there are so many strategies and approaches. Some involve limited assessment of the specific areas of the dwelling space while others are complete home audits. Many can be completed remotely. For information on several approaches, strategies, and potential outcomes of doing home safety assessments, attend Steve’s “Beyond Your CAPS: What’s Next?” workshop where home safety, accessibility, marketing your assessments, and growing your impact in your marketplace are covered. This class is particularly useful for Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists, but real estate agents, remodelers, mobility assistance, and other CAPS professionals will find it beneficical.

There are dozens of checklists that can be located and used. Find one of them you like, create your own, or adopt a strategy such as Steve explains in his “Beyond Your CAPS” course.
