CAPS III: Details & Solutions for Livable Homes & Aging in Place is the third and final course required to earn the Certified Aging In Place Specialist (CAPS) designation. This one-day, standalone course builds on the foundations established in CAPS I and CAPS II, focusing on practical applications, design solutions, and real-world case studies for creating safe, accessible, and livable home environments.

- Level: Introductory – suitable for professionals new to Aging In Place concepts – and taught as an interactive distance learning activity, qualifying for Category One, Occupational Therapy Service Delivery

Important Information
- CAPS III is required to complete the CAPS designation – no exemptions or substitutions allowed.
- You must complete CAPS I and CAPS II prior to taking this course
- There is no time limit for completing all 3 classes, but many people complete them in a single week
- After finishing all three courses, participants may apply for their CAPS certification online through NAHB
